Experience :

With ten years of experience in prime Anglo-Saxon business law firms, Fabrice Cacoub has extensive experience in the field of M&A and private equity.
Fabrice provides advisory services to French and foreign corporations, in the context of their company acquisition or sale projects. He provides guidance at all stages of the sale process (conceiving, drafting the acts related to the project, participating in negotiations and ensuring coordination).
He also provides assistance to French and foreign investment funds, for their private equity transactions (whether within the framework of traditional LBOs or of turnarounds), which includes the drafting and negotiation of the acquisition documentation, as well as setting up management packages.
Fabrice has also acquired strong expertise in acquisitions or sales of business concerns, and is involved on a regular basis in corporate restructuring projects (mergers, demergers, partial contributions of assets, etc.), corporate governance projects and the setting up of joint-ventures.

Career history :

Fabrice practiced first of all for a year (1999 – 2000) at Denton Wilde Sapte, then for nine years (2000 – 2009) in the M&A department of Clifford Chance, of which one (2004 – 2005) in the private equity department of the London office.

Educational qualifications:

Fabrice is an avocat admitted to the Paris Bar. He holds a DEA (research master’s degree) in Business Law (1998) and a DESS (professional master’s degree) in Banking and Financial Law (1999) from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne.
He also graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris (1997, International Section).
Fabrice was a senior lecturer at University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne.
